An act relating to Student Education

Be it enacted by the Youth Model Legislature of the State of New Jersey that all high school textbooks be available online

Section I:

Schools across the state will be required to have physical copies of the book in the classroom.

Section II:

A contract will be purchased from the textbook's company and publisher to allow access to the information.

Section III:

The contract will be valid for the school year.

Section IV:

Teachers get an account and login, which is passed to students.

Section V:

Students who do not have access to a computer will be allowed to borrow a hard copy from the classroom.

     
Statement of Intent: The purpose of this Bill is to make information to students more available and become more ecologically frugual.

Effective Date: This Bill shall take effect within the next two years.

Financial Statement: $5,000 to change the lawbooks.
